@mousiegirl  Hello my friend.  I have been amending my garden at the lake to include items that are 'beaver proof' lol.  They leave the grasses alone.  This one shines in the Fall.

@Lilysmom1   Here, it is rabbits and gophers.  DH built cages to go around sections in the garden where plants have been eaten down.  Rabbits can jump at least three feet high which shocked me until I saw one sitting in a twenty-five gallon pot, nibbling my shrub.  They ate the buds off of daylilies this year so didn't see many flowers, I look so forward to those flowers every year.

All of my roses have died from being eaten down over and over, except the few I got cages around so they could recover.  Maybe the rabbits will leave my garden when there is nothing to eat, hopefully.  We went decades here without anything being damaged, then all of a sudden, mass destruction.

@mousiegirl That is so disappointing.  In the Fall, I block off our swimming entrance into the lake.  The beavers still take their sticks from the waterline which is fine.
