Spent many enjoyable days touring Longwood gardens.   Visited  Nemours Mansion Estate ,  while  walking up the marble staircase  you can smell the  stargazer lilies they had in the  bedrooms upstairs.

Wonderful area  for day trips or over night stays to tour the other Dupont Estates and museums

" The Nemours Estate is a 200-acre country estate with jardin à la française formal gardens and a French neoclassical mansion in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. Built to resemble a French château, its 105 rooms on four floors occupy nearly 47,000 sq ft."

Re: Longwood Gardens

[ Edited ]

While I've never been to Longwood Gardens myself. My son and daughter in law visit there often with her parents. They all live very close to it. I'll have to make it a point to visit it too!

Here are a couple of pictures of my granddaughters and two of their cousins having a photo shoot there.

Lovely; thank you for sharing. I hear several QVC hosts frequently mention Longwood Gardens. I can see that it must be a beautiful place to visit.

I used to have a Good Neighbor pass to Longwood and you could go whenever you wanted at no additional cost. It was a great bargain.
