@spot555, I never overwinter plants in pots. I usually plant them in the ground in the fall. Here is some advice. @JustJazzmom, probably has more detailed advice. It is helpful for her to know you are in Seattle. Good luck! LM

Your plants are beautiful, & so is your walkway (love that!) In my climate I can keep certain plants in pots, & they survive well (especially on a covered deck area). Your advice of watering 1x per month is about what I normally do, depending on the temps.

Just check the soil with your finger in it to see if water is needed. Make sure the water runs out of the bottom so the entire rootball gets watered rather than just the uppper part.
