The Rododendrons in my yard are all in full bloom. I live in the Seattle WA. Area. Most of the bushes are 40 years old. This one is probably the largest and at it's full blooming peak today. It is really amazing that this plant works all year to create  these amazing blooms that only last a few days!  The bush is actually HUMMING with the sound of bees! The bees LOVE  the blooms of this particular rhododendron color for some reason.

They are beautiful plants. My mother was born in the state of Washington. She was determined to have Rhododendrons in hot Sacramento. My dad built a shade structure across the back of the property and she had azaleas and rhododendrons.

Beautiful.  I live on a corner and have rhododendrons outside my fence.  They are amazing plants.
