Spring seems to finally arrived in West Michigan. One of my least favorite outdoor chores in the spring has been cleaning up my herb beds as the area gets inundated with dead leaves and debris. I got my backside down on the ground today to start clean-up and was actually enjoying the task as it’s been such a long gloomy time since I could be outside enjoying myself. Not much sun, but had on a light jacket. Now if we can only hold onto the milder temps . . .

I think we might be out of the woods in the Mid-Atlantic.  Good thing - I work in retail horticulture and these past few weeks have been brutal outdoors.
