@Desertdi @I have done garden tours and I had some high school teens for prom photos.  To be honest, I don't seek those opportunities out.  With a property this large, it is a big deal to have everything looking top notch at the same time.  I am more inclined to let gardeners view than others because I know they get it.  S

@Lilysmom1    I hear you!    When I worked at a resort (65 acres), we had a crew of gardeners......who worked 7 days a week...

I just came in from watering my yard (4am here)....gotta do it before the sun comes up......and EVERY TIME I ask myself, "Why did I plant all this?"    (And it's a small lot!).    di

Beautiful as usual. I always look forward to you sharing your garden photos. Thank you. Everything fits in so well with the natural surroundings too-you have an artist's eye. Do you have a lot of acreage? It appears that you do. Does it go all the way down to the lake? Do you have a background in landscaping or do you come by it naturally? The reason I ask is because our neighbors across the street also have beautiful gardens and plantings and I believe she once told me that her father was a master gardener.
