I am in the Pacific Northwest and my peonies were sparse this year.  I only managed to get two bouquets for the dining room table.  We had the driest May on record this year - don't know if that had anything to do with it.

When was the last time your peonies were divided? I’ve found that some peonies blooms decline over time & that is my clue to dig up & divide.
