Found this growing in a hibiscus I purchased last year.  

Any idea what it is?  Blooms look like green rose buds starting to open.

Does it have thorns? The leaves do kinda look like rose leaves.

No, no thorns.  I'll try to get a better shot of the bloom.  It is wilted, I pulled it up yesterday!

But it did note that it has dried out suggesting it is dormant or dead.

This picture is slightly wilted.  Looks the same on the plant growing.  

The bloom looks kinda like hops, but the leaves do not!
