I need a recommendation please for a ground cover

Good afternoon ladies. I need something that is drought resistant, can take or leave watering/rain, doesn't climb, doesn't grow very high (not higher than about 6") and thrives in shade.

Does anyone know what I might use for this area of my yard? I plan to put a stone fountain in eventually when I find one I can afford, with the ground cover beneath it.
