Re: Help with Stella d'Oro Lillies

I have Happy Returns and while they do bloom twice in a season, the first bloom is always the best.  They (and Stella d'Oro) are not ever-bloomers which sounds like what you're expecting.  Even my ever-blooming azalea doesn't bloom throughout the whole season.

I wasn't expecting constant blooms, but I did expect more then a few blooms that didn't last that long.  I see them blooming everywhere and there are always flowers.  Of course I only have two and what I'm seeing is large groups.  Hopefully I'll have better luck next year.

Re: Help with Stella d'Oro Lillies

@Biftu I have the stella d'oro yellow lilies and from my memory they bloom almost continiuously all summer long - as long as they get water almost every day and take off the old blooms before they seed.  They've been blooming a few weeks now, so I'll keep you posted if that changes.    I have 4 separate plants - all doing well.  they are more mature now, but I think they did pretty great right from the start.

I thought the reblooming aspect was the draw of these lillies.
