@Homegirl Thanks for the great photos! Fall colors are my very favorite and your flowers are just gorgeous.

@Homegirl Gorgeous photos.  If this is your flower garden, I can see why you're a 'homegirl.'  Who'd want to leave?  Only now, my single little mum looks frightfully lonely.

Beautiful!

I didn't know there are cascading mums.  I hope I remember to look for them next fall.

@Homegirl

Just beautiful!

Over the years, I've tried to grow mums with no luck.  Finally, I just gave up and got some fake ones.  Put them in little bushel baskets and plopped them on my front steps.

They look great....obviously not real, but they add color and cheer.

As I've mentioned before, we have lots of deer and they eat any and everything, so I gave up.

So far, they haven't tried eating the fake ones.

Your little Kiku is adorable!

Re: Halloween in the garden

@Homegirl  Are your mums potted or are some planted in the ground? I'm unable to tell from the picture if the cascade is due to larger pots or if the mums have really cascaded down a terrace or embankment.

If in pots, do you overwinter your mums in the garage? I do!
