@cheriere  Beautiful hummingbird photos, Cheriere !! That green one is enjoying the all-you-can-eat buffet in that pretty pink rose! I love the one sitting on the fence too- it looks like its smiling and proud of how cute he is!  Thank you for sharing these!

The first time I ever saw a hummingbird even just several years ago, I thought it was a very large flying bug!

Then I had one that would fly almost into my face! Maybe it thought I was a big sweet flower lol!

It was kind of thrilling!

I see that he/she? is also going for the bud as well as the flower

Honestly, there's only a couple roses left, but I've got tons of zinnias planted all around them.  That's what they've really seemed to go for all summer this year...butterflies too!😃🌸🦋

I have some yellow and orange marigolds, but where they're planted I can't really enjoy them.  I'll have to remember to get some for my border up front next year. 😃
