Gnats or Fruitflies inside House

We have problems every spring thru mid fall with gnats flying around in the house and they drive me crazy. I don't want to spray the house all the time bec. that is not healthy.

Has anybody ever tried using the Solar Lantern that is on tv now for inside flying insects. If so, please let me know how you like it.

The pest control man said that there is nothing he could recommend for the problem and I know that there has to be something out there.
