[ Edited ]

What we call our Rock of Gilbraltor.  I have planted two climbing hydrangeas to climb this.

Bottlebrush grass

This blue spruce gets wider every year.  Also gets the worst of the snowblower snow which you would never know to look at it.

Can you tell I like Japanese forest grass?  Great for colour in shady areas.

Excuse the shadows, early morning photos.  We are in between the next wave of colour.  Waiting for hydrangeas, coneflowers, daisies, sunflowers, etc to bloom.

Happy gardening!

@Lilysmom. Thank you so much for the pictures of your beautiful gardens.   Each picture had its own special appeal including the little turtle, rabbit, etc.  I would love to be able to wander down your paths and stop to enjoy the surroundings and sounds..  At the end of the path I would be totally relaxed and at peace with the land and all around me.  Best therapy to be had.

@Lilysmom  I am in awe if those beautiful ferns and hostas.  I've never lived where you could grow either.  Your yard is like a public botanical garden and always looks so well kept.
