Fresh water in the birdbath!

My birdies spotted it 5 minutes after I filled it to the brim.

After a couple finches, a juvenile cardinal, a blue jay, and a couple robins, the bath needs a refill! They really enjoyed a cool bath.

Such fun to watch.

My morning:  make coffee, clean and fill birdbaths (and feeders).🌼

I have to fill mine daily because in 24 hours, the water evaporates and they're bone dry.

Re: Fresh water in the birdbath!

I have always loved birds and have had feeders and a birdbath for years. Lately, though, I have joined a birding club and it has become more of an obsession than a hobby, lol.

I have learned from my group that having a birdbath or some source of water near one's feeders is just as responsible for bringing birds around as the feeders are.

Although Grackles aren't my favorite bird, we had eight of them at once today taking a bath together!

The grackles are the dirtiest bird! After they bathe, the water is very dirty.  I rinse and refresh my 4 bird baths at least twice a day...gotta have drinking water for the cute birds and ensure no mosquito breeding.
