Its been so long since I've eaten a "real" strawberry, it's hard to remember what they're like. The things we get in grocery stores are a sad excuse.

@Kachina624 I'm sorry I can't share across the miles, but I would if I could. I refuse to eat grocery store strawberries, they don't have any taste to me but blah. I'm fortunate to live in an area where strawberries thrive, fruit stands sell them right and left.

thank you @happycat. Gardening is one of my passions. Flowers, fruit, vegetables, everything, if it's planted in dirt, I have my hands in it!

This post seems so "out of date." Our Florida strawberry season runs from December and is usually done by the end of March.
Wishnaski farms are close by. Actually the best berries are varities that do not ship that well but are available locally. Lots of smaller growers specialize in the sweeter ones. Yours look like the sweeter ones! Enjoy!

Our fresh strawberry season is a few weeks away. By July 4 it is nearly done.
