I inherited my mother's AND grandmother's Hudson's Bay Company™ blankets.    A whole closet shelf full!!!

Last night, I slept in old jeans, t-shirt and sweatshirt...and covered myself in FOUR blankets.    Had the heat pump running, PLUS a space heater...   (Even my hair was COLD.)

I actually LOOKED for an electric blanket or throw last time we had freezing weather.    I don't think they even sell them here.    Came home from the store empty-handed!   (Haven't had weather this cold in several years.)

@Desertdi.  You could probably have an electric blanket delivered overnight from Amazon.  Wish I had a Hudson Bay blanket.
