I agree.  Having lived in the area until last Sept, I've been many times. BUT it's a crowded mad house.   I don't know why they keep having it in a place that has been and is too small for the event.

@Bridgegal  I'm not sure it is because the space is too small. There is lots of open space in the Convention Center, so maybe it is a poor disign. When the had it in the old Civic Center, it seemed just as big but flowed much better. I think the person who mentioned timed tickets may have hit on the answer. I love the displays, but if I can't see them, it is a waste of time.
