For 2018.  I was away last week soI didn’t get out.  Spent most of the afternoon cleaning up the front yard, fertilizing a bit everywhere.  Lots to do our there.  Three hours working so I will sleep good tonight!  Nice to see everything coming along.  LM

@Kachina624, me too.  Tulips just opening up.  Cool, wet April.  Great to be out in the garden again.  I am inspired by our recent trip to Savannah.  Beautiful city!  LM

My flower garden will be ready on Thursday, so I'll start planting first thing Friday morning.

It is truly amazing what a couple of weeks of actual spring weather does.  The fast growth and flourishing of my plants and shrubs this year is hard to believe.  Like they were "chomping at the bit" waiting and are now making up for lost time.  I think this is the most beautiful time of the year and wish it would last longer before the stress of the heat of summer takes its toil.

@Lilysmom  I look forward to your wonderful pictures.

@Lilysmom and all gardners.  I love seeing the pictures and just reading about everyone's expertise with flowers and plants in general.

Look forward to reading the posts.

Hi everyone. Great weather to be outside. Though the black flies are plentiful. Just a couple of pics. Few things in bloom. Hummers are back and so on it goes!

Here are a couple of shots from today.  I am in cleanup mode still.  I did such a good job last Fall, it is an easy job this year.  Note to self, repeat in 2018 😀!  LM

The first photo is the rock wall.  This plant is a sedum.

Always the first sign of Spring, daffodils.

@Lilysmom

I love repeating spring with your garden since my daffodils in CA have come and gone.  (The stalks are just beginning to brown here.)

Daffodils on a sea of green is just heaven, isn't it?

The rocks are magnificent.

Thank you!

My daffodils and tulips have bloomed and are gone.  I treat them as annuals.  Rhododendron are now blooming.  Spent that last two days planting the pots on my patio with geraniums, million bells, impatiens, begonias, sweet potato vines, bacopa, verbena and lobelia.  Using a red and white color scheme this year for the patio.

@DiAnne, my tulips are just starting to put on a show.  Late this Spring.  Cool and wet.  LM
