Fall Garden Pics and early morning lakeside...Oct 16/15

Here are some garden photos and early morning shots at the lake.  The heavy morning mist obscures the tree line on the horizon and, with the reflection off the lake, it looks like one big skyline.

Happy Fall gardeners!  LM

Just beautiful.  Thank you for sharing.  What is the tallish plant with pink flowers in front of the birch?  Crape myrtle?

You have a beautiful garden.  It looks so serene; a good place to find peace.

@ValuSkr, the plant is a pink diamond hydrangea.  I am such a fan of hydrangeas and it's not hard to tell!  It is too cold here for crepe myrtle although I think it is beautiful!  We are zone 5 in my location in Nova Scotia.  LM

Just gorgeous!  And great photography.

What is the plant (first picture) in the front of the globe?  I love the color of the sedum too.  Mine (autumn joy) always grows too high and falls over.
