Enjoying the cool-Fall-like temps!

I've been taking FULL advantage of it by catching up on weeding, trimming, mowing, staking, etc in the gardens before the heat returns on Friday...

I went out this morning the get the trash container to put it back in the garage and got goosebumps from the chill in the air. It made me think of late September mornings Smiley Happy

Boy, I wish were having some of those. At least it hasn't been hitting triple digits yet - I should just be grateful for that.

We don't have cool weather but we sure have had a lot of rain! I'm starting to feel like I live in a rain forest!

Re: Enjoying the cool-Fall-like temps!

We had a front move in last night with lots of rain & cooler temps. It's only 66° right now. It felt like a can of soup before the front moved in. Will be nice again tomorrow & back into the 90's starting Thurs. We have had a few of the triple digit temps but for the most part it's been in the 90's which is unusual for us in July. At least DH got the mowing & edging done before the rain moved in last night. Our rain barrels are full again.

Re: Enjoying the cool-Fall-like temps!

It's been slightly cooler here for the past week because of so much rain. Sure, we complained a lot about the soggy grounds, but it was a treat here in S. E. Louisiana. to be in the mid 80's.   Now the rain is gone, and the temp will be in the high 90's today, feeling like something around 107.  How I dislike the summer here!!!
