Children will understand a calm explanation of you wanting to protect the butterflies. 

 

I have another baby rabbit that has been in my backyard all late spring & summer. The neighbor’s girl next door was really fascinated with just seeing that baby rabbit. I told her, if you run after it, it will hop away. But by slowly walking & talking quietly to it, it will let you get a lot closer.

@silkyk did you do anything unique to get that result? Mine grew like weeds, but looked like weeds - nothing like yours! Please help! Thanks!
