Done planting for the year, and what do I have to show for it?

Plenty...and one thing I just acquired is some sort of bug bite in my left eyebrow. it's very sore and my left upper eyelid is swollen and pink. I'm going to see my doctor today for something else and I'm going to have him take a look at it and possibly give me an antibiotic. I don't normally ask for antibiotics for every little thing but at my age I don't want to risk a secondary infection.

And I AM done with all my spring planning for the year; yay! I've been busting my hump since late April and I'm already seeing results, but I'll probably get a more complete look at it next month and decide if all this work was worth it.

I sure hope it did!

One of my pride and joys is the ginko tree I put in a year ago. I didn't get treated to the sight of all the golden leave in a circle around the trunk--that's what ginkos do; their leaves turn golden and all drop at once, leaving a circle on the ground. Wet windy weather nixed that but I don't care; I love that tree.
