We have had this pine cone cactus for at least six years, and lo and behold, the daintiest, prettiest flower popped up.  Really a neat, unexpected surprise.

Very unique cacti--never saw one like that before----I saw a rhubarb plant with a flower on it. Have you ever seen one before? Was on a tall stalk with flowers blooming off it.

@Pezzie  I have a huge one in my greenhouse...it's never bloomed...I got it when it was a small plant at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, AZ..I'll have to keep a closer eye on it...DW
