Can someone tell me, what the difference is between the Desert Rose plant Roberta's sells compared to the ones they sell at Lowes? I'm thinking price.

@Marciirene  I'm thinking you're right. Always bought mine at my FL Lowe's. Inexpensive and they grew & bloomed beautifully. Of course I could leave Desert Rose outside year around so it always had good growing environment. Wouldn't think of trying to grow one up here in the North.

I wish I could find one at my Lowe's.  I bought one from the big A. It's doing ok.  I want a bigger one.

I've never had much luck with mine. I get a few to bloom outside in the summer months, but most of mine don't. THey completely defoliate when they are brought in for the winter and I always lose a few each winter. They don't do well in northern climes. They are fine in the summer months when you can put them outside. I don't buy Roberta's line that they bloom for 6 months! Maybe in CA or FL. They rarely pop up in local nurseries so I'm stuck with Robertas if I want a new one. I should just cut my losses
