David Austin roses with romantic names

[ Edited ]

Some of the David Austin roses have the most romantic names.  Here are just a few.  So many roses, so little space!

Tess of the D'Urbervilles:

Lady Emma Hamilton

Anne Boleyn

Lady of Shalott

David Austin roses are the best!  They have a smaller one called 'The Fairy.'  As an avid fairy gardener I wanted a couple of these so bad but this is the second year I missed out on them!  They sold out so quick and are available only to ship in 2017!  Must be as beautiful in person as they are in the catalog!  :-)

'The Fairy' is not an Austin English rose but a polyantha. But its a great rose for borders and landscape that needs shrubs, it has Earth-Kind designation and its disease resistant.

@Julie928

Look at this link: they are asking $17 for each rose, then add S&H to that:

@JustJazzmom  Heirloom only has the large size now for $37+, regular $27+ so $17 is a great deal.

The ones Roses Unlimited are selling are own root in 1 gallon trade pots.

There are two different shipping minimums for East and West of the Mississippi River. Shipping is $5 per order but I would call to confirm the actual shipping charges and what is the shipping minimum needed to ship for your area.

Heirloom are 1 Gallon pot for $37.00, also own root.

Forgot to mention that I have used them in the past --Roses Unlimited and my 'Quietness' rose and 'Gruss an Aachen' are recently from them.

I am east of the Mississippi.

My 'Quietness' is about 3' high and was about a foot when I received it and had 1 bloom (fragrant in that box it was in!) on it!
