After several unsuccessful attempts at growing cucumbers ,this morning I picked my first good sized  specimen. !  I'm not much of a gardener, just tomatoes, herbs and of course now cucumbers, and it makes me so happy. I'm such a nerd that I took a picture of it and sent it to my friend, she is probably laughing her head off.Oh the simple joys of retirement. LOL.

Oh, YUM! There's nothing like fresh veggies from your own garden!

Congrats on your first cucumber growing experience!

@QVCkitty1  I know how you feel, I just picked one zucchini, two white eggplant, and two small long eggplants, and we had those as a side last night for dinner.  Waiting on the tomatoes now, many green on the vines.

@QVCkitty1  I had planned to grow cucumbers, but didn't get them in on time.
