Update!

My husband went on-line and ordered Predator Urine, sounds gross I know! He got Red Fox urine. You can order anything from bear, cougar, coyote etc etc. Who knew!

Anyway, he went around the yard with it as instructed. Within 2 days the woodchuck has moved on, the voles are still there but in smaller numbers it seems. He will keep the application up!

The best news is we seem to have drawn some fox into the yard as he saw one on patrol!

Seems a more natural solution than poison since we have birds of prey and we didn't want them harmed.

My gardens and retaining wall are still messed up but I can deal with it knowing there is something ,that so far, seems to be working!

We are surrounded by woods and have more critters than I want to count. I have tried a ton of items but what I have found that works best are those "repel" products. That will keep the majority of them away. I also use those "no see" traps for the voles.  I have those pulse sensors in the garage and lower level so at least it keeps most of them away. Hope this helps you.

I do have some fencing around my gardens but for the persistent groundhog I also wrapped nylon net thru the fencing. Some of them will be discouraged by this and some will chew it.
