I've ordered from Cottage Farms twice, and have been pleased by the results. Roses were true to label but the hydrangeas, though doing very well, are apparently a reversion. It most certainly could be the soil, and they are blooming heartily after just one year, and survived a harsh winter, so I'll take it. Hard to complain about hyrangeas in bloom. I love spontaneous acts of nature.

What do you mean by reversion of the hydrangea?
We need a confused emotie.

Hi - I guess I mean they are not true to "type". These things have been so hyped and marketed and overbred, that I just wonder if it's all sustainable. Clearly, the plant form on two of the hydrangeas is different, yet the blooms are remarkably similar. I remember when "Blushing Bride" came out - the "all white" macrophylla started to morph into pinks and blues after about two years. Pretty, nonetheless, but not what was advertised.
