Construction project, lakeside

August has has been a busy month.  We decided to build a second deck at lakeside.  We also focussed on widening walkways, improving paths and building good stable steps.  We had the backhoe here before the construction crew and he placed the stone steps, widened paths, leveled ground.

The crew put the deck up in a day.  There is a couple of hours of work finishing the pergola and repairing the stairs on the original deck.  Everything is in disarray of course after the constructions but the bones are good.

A cloudy breezy day, a good day to be working outside.  I will update as we try to bring some order to this area.  Pinch out for better detail.  LM

Looks lovely and so relaxing!

We usually go to the beach since it's close by but my husband suddenly decided he wanted to go to a lakeside cottage for a few days in September in the Poconos.  As long as the weather cooperates and it's not too buggy it will be great!
