Stopping by to say hello from Nova Scotia. Our summer heat is just starting this week. We have been busy in the garden as always. We had very cool wet Spring so the garden is late this year. This week temps will be 80-90 which is hot for us.
Times are strange indeed with restrictions due to COVID. Nova Scotia has just clocked 7 days with no new cases so that is good news. There appears to be no end in sight to the watch in this awful virus.
A few pics to brighten your day.
I had identified shrubs in each photo but am having trouble posting so will quit before I lose the whole thing.
The last two photos show my gardening buddy at 8 years and now at 13. I should have called her 'Shadow' because that is what she does, following me from garden bed to garden bed waiting for the swim at the end. Her companion in the last photo is her buddy Jersey, so named for the chocolate bar. Both sweet dogs.
Be well everyone! LM

This sounds weird, but I get a sensation of incredible peace when viewing your photos. I'd like to grab the good book and read some passages while pretending to be sitting up in Nova Scotia.
My flower bed consists of basic plants that are coming along quite well. There are snapdragons, petunias, zinnias, cosmos, glads, cannas and some yellow flower that re-seeds itself each year (could be a pretty weed for all I know). My planters are full of patriotic colored plants - although the blue plants are slightly purple.

@AuntG , it is a lovely spot and easy to find a place in the shade to read or sit on a swing, We have neighbours who are very quiet and who also like to garden so we are all good friends. Our piece of heaven to be sure! LM

Thank you for sharing pictures of your ever-lovely gardens.
You can always tell a labor of love. Are both dogs yours?
They are so handsome.
