Just guessing, but it looks like a weed growing into a tree.

Does it get white blooms?  Might be a catalpa.

Thats my guess too. Catalpa. If so, it will get white blooms on it.

catalpa....the worms eat the leaves.

Thanks everyone, I agree that I think it is a catalpa. I have one and it does get white blooms and has long pods. I have never seen worms on it however. These photos I shared are from my daughter in Va. and I wanted to ask before I told her I thought it was a catalpa. Thanks again!

My first guess is that it may be an empress tree--Paulownia tomentosa, but you will know for sure once it flowers.
