Can anyone identify this plant I saw on my walk today...

I saw this plant on my walk today in the park....never saw it before...

I haven’t seen that one either but it is very pretty.I wonder if the berries are edible?Really curious to see if anyone does know what it is too.

The berries are actually growing in the center of the leaf?  That is really strange!  Hope we find an answer.

That's a "yes?"  I have googled and can't find anything that resembles it.....will keep trying!

Such an odd shaped leaf.  I was googling and found one image that looked similar (couldn't capture it) of a native type of honeysuckle vine.  Recommended not to eat the berries.

I've grown Nasturtiums. They have round leaves like that, but no red berries.

 

What Zone are you in? That has a tropical look.

The leaf looks like dollarweed but they don't have the 4 veins and certainly no berries!

 

Just for the fun of it, google "plants with weird seed pods."  Interesting!

@Nataliesgramma@x Hedge, nasturtiums was the first thing that came to my mind too.  Leaves are very similar.  LM
