Just wanted to make a quick post before I start getting ready for my looong drs appointment today.

This beautiful vine with red flowers is Cypress Vine.  It also goes by the names: Hummingbird Vine, Cardinal Vine, Star of Bethlehem, Cypress Vine Morning Glory, and Cardinal Creeper.  Consequently, I have some lovely pics of a hummingbird feeding on these flowers I'll post later.

These are truly a lovely flowers and lacey greenery.🌺

Love these! The hummers go crazy with them. They're invasive but easy to weed out those you don't want. They grow along the ditch lines of our cotton fields and really catch the eye between the snow white cotton bolls and the vibrant reds of this vine. I think they also come in white and pink but all of mine are red. I have them planted in pots with purple morning glories and they're always covered with bees and hummers.

That brilliant red and vibrant green are just beautiful!

So this is why we make red sugar solution to put in hummingbird feeders!
