The critters certainly know summer is coming to an end.   In the last week we’ve seen 2 praying mantis; one on a window screen, one on the brick.   By 8 p.m., the wood spiders are clinging to the garage doors for warmth.   Yesterday we had katydids on window screens, and a few locusts near the garage.
