Review of DynaTrap.....Having bought this 2 years ago - and buying a quiet zapper last year - - DynaTrap doesn't hold a candle - or light to the zapper.  $90 is a significant amount - better ones out there for $40.  Do your homework if you are considering a 'bugger'.  Zapper doesn't depend on smell of you - light works!

So you're saying the zapper (????) is better than Dynatrap?  what is this "zapper."

I believe the OP is referring to a Bug Zapper which would be the one with the huge light in it.  The bug is drawn to the light...then ZAP....he flies into it and is electrocuted.

However, we have had the total opposite experience.  Have had a zapper for years and couldn't sit out by the pool w/o getting eaten alive.  At night in the hot tub was even worse.

Bought the 1 acre Dyna Trap last year and it is fantastic!  No skeeters or flying critter biting you while sitting outside day OR night.

BEST thing we ever bought.  Yes, the zapper is still crackling away at the back of the property trying its hardest to control the bugs.  But the Dyna Trap WORKED!  We put just behind the fenced pool area.

Bugs were drawn there and totally leave us alone.

Everyone who came over wanted to know why we didn't have any skeeters!

Bug zappers attract many times beneficial insects & not the ones you want to eliminate.
