@moxie11 , what a sweet kind post from you, you made my day!! Its soooo fun, but I admit, I get a little carried away when I do stuff...my kids say I'm OCD😄
@NickNack , yes, I sure can see the houses from my windows. The one posted here at the beginning of this thread, is right outside my front dining room. Hubby also put a baffle on it. I took pics with 2 bluebirds on top, but for some reason, I cant post it. Says file too large, and yet I didn't change anything...its the same settings on my phone that I posted pics here before. I'll try again.
I do hope you get around to putting up your houses again...you seem to really enjoy it...why not??

@Dazlin I was always doing something to try to prevent the House Sparrows from destroying the eggs. A couple of times the house sparrows won. It was stressful at those times.
However, when the nesting was successful I loved it. It's very enjoyable to watch the bluebirds feeding the babies. It's also really neat when the babies start looking out the hole.
I'm sure I'll put the box up again sometime.

@DazlinYou just break up the banana and stuff the parts into the area on the board the plant is on. We just fed it once a month, it does take aloooong time for them to get large. tedEbear

@Dazlin I wouldn't open the box too often. You might scare them away. I understand why you want to keep checking though.

Seeing the bluebirds entering the house...late last night I peeked in, and she was sitting in there. I assume there are eggs😃
@Dazlin That's great! Try not to peek in while she's in there. It could cause her to abandon the nest.
