Since my Zinnias have been blooming, I've had butterflies galore! The most common have been Papilio Glaucus, better known as the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail.  These butterflies are indigenous to the eastern US. They fly here from spring through fall producing up to three broods.   I was lucky enough to get pics of all the colors these beauties come in, brown, black and yellow.

When I glanced at the first photo, I thought I was seeing a bronze outdoor garden sculpture!

You must have lots of fun tending your garden and photographing wildlife!

I've really been surprised by how many butterflies these zinnias attract.  They're out there on them everyday.  I wasn't sure how the zinnias would do this year.  I always start them from a pack of seeds.  Half of them got blown in the driveway, but I still had a lot lol.  The ones in the drive even came up.😂

I absolutely LOVE butterflies, as odd as this sounds, God sent me one a few wks. after my husband died in 2013, i had aked my husband before to send me one to let me know he was in heaven, TRUTH, not made up !!!!!!!
