August brings new colour in the garden.  For the first time ever, I have Satomi and Endless Summer in bloom at the same time.

We had a thunder storm last night with a bit of rain.  Very hot and dry.  I cleaned refilled all the bird baths yesterday.

The hummers are back after a small hiatus.  LM

Mother Nature does it best.  I love these naturally occurring ferns.

Just lovely as always @Lilysmom  Ms LM. I'm especially loving the cosmos (I believe) 2nd from last photo. I love the light airyness of cosmos and this color is outstanding. Nice to hear and see from you. Hoping you and your DH are well.

@OKPrincess , August and September are my favorite  time in the garden.  The weeds have slowed down a bit.  I did a bit of pruning and, for the first time this season, every garden is in good shape.  I think I will take the afternoon off😊.  LM

@Desertdi , the bees are all over the place.  The strong scent of lilacs are gone now and replaced by light scents from other flowers.  I am hoping to see more butterflies.  We have had some but not nearly as many as in the past.  LM

@PINKdogWOOD , the second last photo is coreopsis.  I have moonbeam but was taken with the orange colour.  Love orange!
