Thanks for the growing tips.  I purchased lavender from qvc last season and a few others several seasons prior.  They died...possibly due to errors I made.  Decided to give it a go again, but very annoyed with Roberta's for reasons I mentioned in the first blog.  I probably should stop tv shopping as I tend to believe the personable hosts when, actually, they are pimping the prducts just as they are told to do...whether the product is a quality item or not.  I don't blame the hosts.  They want to keep what I imagine is an extremely well-paying job.
