We were scheduled to host a garden tour today which we cancelled because of the wildfires in Nova Scotia.  it has been raining for the past 24 hours, a good steady soak and more to come.

@Lilysmom1   People were wondering if the fires are anywhere near you.  I guess not, thank goodness.  We, in New Mexico, have been getting smoke they say is from fires in Alberta.  I hope they're not in the national parks.

Too bad about the cancelled tour.  I'm sure you and hubby worked hard to get the place ready.  There doesn't seen to be smoke evident in your photos.  Hopefully the rain will alleviate the drought situation.

@Lilysmom1   Sorry your garden your got cancelled, but at least we now know that you and your family are not in harms way.   The garden is beautiful ! Thanks for sharing your lovely spot and hard work cultivating it.

@Lilysmom1  Your garden is looking beautiful! So glad you are fine! I'm sure the rains are a blessing. We were supposedly getting the smoke from NS a few days ago, but I didn't smell anything. They said it was 35 feet above the ground. 

Re the pics, is that a white bleeding heart? It's striking! I just can't keep bleeding heart. Don't know why. Thanks for posting!
