A few pics Jun 9/17

[ Edited ]

Risk of frost again tonight.  Don’t remember this going on so late in the year.  Little rain too so things are slow to grow.  We need some heat.  A lot of damage for the farmers.  Going to be a tough year for them.

So far I have been fortunate ... no damage.  Trotting annuals in and out of the garage.

Here’s the garden on June 9th.  LM

So very beautiful, I'm sorry Mother Nature's not being very nice this year. I feel your pain, you can tell how much work you've put into your lovely gardens.

Absolutely beautiful.  No manicured lawn, etc.  I just love its naturalistic ambience.  I hope you get rain soon.

@Lilysmom ~ Scrolling and 'cyber' strolling through your beautiful

garden pictures.  I hope the frost stays away, and the needed rain comes!

How do you like your dwarf fothergilla? I love mine now & in the fall!

Ours were finished blooming a month ago.

The roses are all in bloom, then next month is the hydrangeas & daylilies.

@Lilysmom  Wonderful!  Are the darling little cone shaped evergreens in the first picture a smaller size of the same looking only larger in the last picture?

I decided this year to buy ferns, so bought quite a few varieties from New Hampshire Hostas, along with some hostas, just discovered this company this year.  I am going to have them in pots instead of the ground except for a very large variety.

I know it isn't funny to you, but I giggled at "trotting annuals in and out of the garage. Smiley Happy  It does seem late for frost, we don't get much of that here.

The weather today is like winter, blustery, grey, and cold, though tomorrow is supposed to be better,  so much wind this month, hate it.

we are getting plenty of rain in the a.m. and sun in the late afternoon so I can't complain.  Your photos are very nice.
