I wrinkled a wk tneck big time. My fault; details not necessary. I know there's been a lot of discussion on this forum but I can't find it. I was going to iron it with a damp towel over it because I have a new steamer that I have to figure out how to use. In the past I had a few wrinkles that I would just lightly pass a steam iron over but I can imagine it could work with the mess I made.
I know there's been discussion about hanging wk's but I don't have room. I am fortunate enough to have some deep shelves in a closet and I'm able to lie them mildly folded and flat. That works for me; this t neck wasn't neatly placed.

I iron mine with a steam iron (relatively low heat)...no problems.
They are VERY easy to care for, IMO.

I had a badly wrinkled Whisper Knit sweater (it came that way in the plastic bag from QVC). I tried using my steamer (Rowenta), but either I wasn't using it properly or it didn't work right. Anyway, I asked about this on the forum awhile back, and it was suggested that I lightly steam the sweater. I did that, and all the wrinkles came out beautifully. When I carefully fold my sweaters, hang them over a hanger or roll them, they don't get wrinkled. If there is a bit of wrinkling, I just smooth the sweater out with my hand.

In my experience there have been no whisper knit wrinkles that can't be removed with my hand held steamer. I know that you have a new steamer and have to learn how it works, but I think that this really is the time to read those directions and put it to work. Good luck from another WK lover!

I do think a steamer is easier than a steam iron. With the iron, you have to be careful not to stretch the fabric. For me it's hard to set the iron hot enough for the steaming function, yet not so hot as to melt the fabric=WK nylon content.
You could first try putting it in your dryer with no heat, or ultra low heat if your dryer has that setting, and a very damp (not sopping wet) towel.

I am always having to press or steam Whisper Knits mainly because they are squished in drawers (no room to hang). The wrinkle factor of WK is why I am not buying any of the scarves. Wish the Posh Knit scarves would come back.

I usually toss mine in the dryer with a damp towel for a few minutes, normal heat setting doesn't seem to hurt it.
