vera bradley.. plastic handles and straps!!!!!

Have so many Vera Bags but lately they are featuring so many of them with plastic handles and straps yet, charging $100 for them.... not a good deal!!

Aren't her bags machine wash / dry ?  Do you want to put leather in the washing machine and dryer?

Bags are hand washable and I am perfectly ok with fabric and fabric covered handles and straps....... Have many!!!!
