i don't really like seeing her go by herself. especially with family nearby. but she looks upbeat in her turquoise - almost springy despite a London day in the 40's with rain expected.

What a lovely woman. It's nice to see her hold on to her values and go to church every Sunday, even if she has to go alone!

@Patriot3 She IS the head of the church, so it would stand to reason that she would go to her church.
She always looks lovely. I wonder how many hats and coats she owns and how many times she wears them.

It always seems a bit sad Phillip is no longer attending with her. I like to see some of her family accompanying her, also

If she is the head of her church, does she ever put on robes and conduct mass? (Like the pope does as head of the Catholic church)
Or is this just another title?

@Tinkrbl44. She's not a minister; she's the " defender of the faith" as head of the church. She puts on a suit of armour upon her arrival at church.

the Queen is Supreme Governor of the Church of England which is defined as follows:
Supreme Governor of the Church of England is a title held by the British monarch which signifies titular leadership over the Church of England. Although the monarch's authority over the Church of England is largely ceremonial, the position is still very relevant to the church and is mostly observed in a symbolic capacity. As the Supreme Governor, the monarch formally appoints high-ranking members of the church on the advice of the Prime Minister, who is in turn advised by church leaders.
