The Queen, to me, is such a remarkable woman.  Thrust into the line of succession by the abdication of her uncle, assuming the throne at only 25 as a young mother of two children, would be enough.  But then the scandals, three of her four children divorcing, was so much for her to overcome.

Divorce had been a taboo forever in the royal family.  The devastation she has endured with grit and grace.  Talk about dedication to duty.

The Queen looks great in that light blue. I love Sophie's hair pulled back with that hat-very chic. I think she's so pretty.

It makes me cheerful to look at the Queen.  Such beautiful colors she wears.  Also Sophie is stunning.  With her coloring and features she reminds me some of Diana.  I still miss Diana.
