After the subject came up I saw a beautiful blue one on the Nordstrom site on sale but it was still $104!!
What makes this brand special? Is it the fabric?
@Andreatoo, back when I first posted about the Rails shirts, specifically their Hunter plaids, I sheepishly confided that I first saw them on the show "Mom," which my husband and I love. I have a sort of girl crush on Anna Faris. :-)
I noticed her plaid shirts and looked them up. She wears several brands but quite a few are Rails Hunter ones. So I started checking them out. I'd not been a shirt person in the past but loved the look of them.
They are 100 percent rayon -- super comfortable and easy to launder (cold, gentle cycle, hang dry, perfect and no wrinkles). NO DRYER. If it's one of their cloud washes, it's cotton/polyester.
Rails itself is an expensive brand. I do think that the shirts are excellent quality and the array of colors are amazing, but I'm sure that I'm also paying for the name.
I know that they are pricey. Certainly if someone is in the market for a relaxed plaid shirt, there are many brands at many price points.
@Greeneyedlady21, in the event that you keep or exchange the shirt, remember how I launder them.(see above). The tag says to hand wash. It's not necessary.
