From my observation, there are many who look fab in leggings and skinny pants.  I've gotten so used to them I can barely wear regular jeans anymore, much less wide leg pants.  Like already said here, I like having a shape.  As far as the longer back on the tops and uneven hemlines, I stay away from all that.  Definitely not my style.

Here are two Denim and Company styles that, if wishes were to come true, Carolyn and Gary would offer in petite lengths:

Not as narrow (on me) as shown... these flow and present with the legs slightly widening at the bottom. 100% cotton unlined gauze and the fabric has BODY. 

Have ordered navy, white and gray. 

Wish: please offer the taupe again so I can wear with my Linea lace jackets that have a linen trim...

Above is a textured crinkle fabric from Denim and Company that seem to be an easy-care fabric. Need a wider waist-band for me.  The picture shows them too short for my taste... they need to cover my shoe to look right.
