stripes, stripes, everywhere

Went to the mall today. Hit 5 stores, and they all had something in common. Stripes! So many of them. Many combinations, but hello? Even White House, Black Market had an adorable little dress, but in stripes. The stores were, The Loft, J.C. Penny (tons of the stuff) Express, J Jills (a lot of them too) Didn't see them at Nordstrom though. Very little of color blocking by the way. Lots of dramatic, dark colors there. Grays, deep and light. No sales, just tops costing $285.00. Grr.... Oh...lots and lots of exposed midriffs.

Love them. Don't get me wrong (3 of the tops I purchased were stripes) Just so surprised to see so many stores with them.
