anyone order a box of clothes from this company. I have had several and I like what they send. I just like to see what they would send me.

@tockerman. Could you please explain in a little more detail what this is?

All the info for this company is on stitchfix.com

I did it one time and I posted the results. Do a search for Stitch fix and you'll find the thread with pictures of what I received. I apparently got a crappy stylist cuz she was pretty much off base with everything! I let them know and they offered to try again with a different stylist but I declined

I've seen the TV ads and wondered..... @Andreatoo, your experience is probably the norm. I can't believe that some "stylist" who's never seen me or met me could get it right! You're brave to have tried it.

I think the trick is getting the right stylist that knows what they're doing because the questionnaire you fill out prior to getting the box is quite extensive. They even ask questions like what stores do you generally shop in which should give somebody an idea of your basic style sense I would think!
It was clear from the box I received that whoever put mine together really didn't pay attention to my answers. I got things that I quite specifically said I didn't want or need. I said that I liked structure and was not into cardigans, I prefer jackets, so what did I get in the box? A cardigan! LOL I said I had no need for dresses because I just didn't have the opportunity to wear the ones I already owned so of course there was one of those in there too! But given the popularity of the program I'm thinking my experience probably isn't that common

My experience, exactly! My DD gave me the subscription, so I played along for a few "fixes."
The cards they do to illustrate the styles are very nicely done, I have to admit that. But, invariably they got what I specifically requested and/or detested all wrong.

The closest I ever came to a stylist was years ago. There was a service that helped me downsize my wardrobe to essentials...a capsule wardrobe. They asked lots of questions about style preferences, colors I liked, every day outfits I reached for often and why, gave me the idea of turning hangers wrong way every time I wore something so end of season could see what never was taken down, etc.
It was more than helpful. Fast forward and I’m still on “the plan”. You can type in Capsule Wardrobe on Pinterest and options are there along w/ services to help. I did the French Capsule Wardrobe...
